Requirements : The Procuring Entity is Ministry of Lands and Water Affairs, Department of Town and Country Planning, located at CBD, The Square Building, Plot No. 54381, Gaborone. The consultancy shall take maximum of three (3) months. Procurement Method is: Open Domestic Bidding. Tenderers who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be registered with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority in the following categories: Code: 320 - Urban and Regional Planning, Sub-Code(s): 01 - Urban and Regional Planning and 03 - Urban Design. The tender is reserved for citizens or citizen contractors as stated under section 76 (2) of the Public Procurement Act. Joint Ventures or Associations or Subcontracting with non-citizen or foreign companies are not allowed. The following Preference Scheme shall be applicable in this tender: Where applicable the Presidential Directive on Economic Diversification Drive CAB 34B of 2014 shall be applied in the evaluation of the tender. The Contractor (or Supplier as the case may be) is required to abide by the undertakings given in the Guidelines on Economic Diversification Drive - 2014 published by the Ministry of Trade and Industry. To benefit from EDD preferences, bidders must include certified copies of EDD certificate. The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board’s Standardised Conditions of Tender for Services apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents.
